I appreciate your website. The photograph of the farm in the snow does a good job of placing your club in the world. Thank you for your welcoming attitude.

Thank you for your note, Mr. Zumbrun. Fingers are crossed for Spring! We spoke with a friend in Cologne, Germany this weekend and he was very excited that Spring has officially arrived there. 62F and flowers are peaking out of the ground for him. That seems so far away for us, doesn't it?

Thanks for the great resources here! Loved that I could find a user manual that seemed to disappear off the face of the Earth. Turning a lot of Bradford Pear these days, as I lost two trees last summer and they are perfect for turning now.

Thanks, Woody! Bradford Pear is one of our favorites, and a cultivar of Pyrus calleryana, or the Callery pear, a species of pear tree native to China and Vietnam, in the family Rosaceae. The Bradford is a beautiful wood to turn, and quite plentiful around Lancaster. With storms we've just had, there's a good chance we'll have plenty of picking to do in the next few months.
