Thanks for the great resources here! Loved that I could find a user manual that seemed to disappear off the face of the Earth. Turning a lot of Bradford Pear these days, as I lost two trees last summer and they are perfect for turning now.

Thanks, Woody! Bradford Pear is one of our favorites, and a cultivar of Pyrus calleryana, or the Callery pear, a species of pear tree native to China and Vietnam, in the family Rosaceae. The Bradford is a beautiful wood to turn, and quite plentiful around Lancaster. With storms we've just had, there's a good chance we'll have plenty of picking to do in the next few months.
