Founded in 2009, the Lancaster Area Woodturners are a diverse collection of turners from those just beginning to recognized artists.

We currently meet in person and virtually on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm Eastern. Please use the ‘Comments’ page under ‘About Us’ to obtain the Zoom information for the monthly meetings. Attend a meeting and see what we are about – if you are interested in joining, the club is open to all.

Annual club dues are $30 per person, and $45 per family. If you join mid-year dues will be adjusted based on months remaining in the year.

Download our LAW printable application on the bottom left side of this page, fill out at home, and follow the mailing instructions on the form.

The club is a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners and proud for having previously been awarded the Star Chapter designation for being a chapter with 100% AAW membership. The information you can gather thru this national organization is second to none.  AAW membership includes:  2,800 online projects, articles, videos and tips;  360 online videos searchable by topic;  12,000 images of member work for inspiration and ideas; 365 affiliated chapters to search (when you are traveling, stop in at a club); back issues of magazines and publications to browse; symposiums – just to mention a few benefits. We strongly encourage all members to keep their AAW memberships current. AAW application can be made here : or pick up an application at a meeting.

We meet for Coffee Hour, Monthly Club Meetings, and Open Workshop at Kauffman’s Kitchens in New Holland, PA.
